11/19th Earl packed the car while I played cards. Had supper w/ Mark, Maria,Toby & Lilly. Had really nice time.Maria said Lilly calls me Grandma Anita also so she was trying to tell her I was Great Grandma. Had breakfas at Hy Vee left about 8:20 strong N winds & 25degrees. Stopped at Kechi, KSto take a peek at our Freinds Mystel & Fred Shiney's new home. They were moving things up on Friday. We talked to their son Lee, he lives about a block away from their new home. Got a couple of pictures it is very nice.
Stayed in Perry, OK. At 7:45 AM it was 20 degrees couldn't believe we had come 500 miles & it was colder than the day before at home.
We got to Mary Jane & Phil's at 4PM Friday
Earl talked them into going to Whataburgers for breakfast Sat morn.
Mary Jane & Phil had no idea that the dinner we were to go to was a Surprise Party for their 50th. They didn't think that Julie would be there because Louis is the line coach for Richmond's football & they were in football game qualifying for the play-off's. There were 53 people waiting to surprise them. We went to 5PM church service & they wanted us to come at 7:30 & Phil wanted to be there at 7PM for that was the time that TxTec & Ok were playing. (As you probably know TxTec was ranked 2nd & OK was 5th which means UT will move to 2nd place) Well Dawn called & talked to Mary Jane & then asked talk to me. She said don't let them get there before 7. Earl asked me how we were going to keep him home until time to be there, I said we'll think of something. Well Dad went to the B-Room & stayed on the throne for a while.... So we arrived at 7.
Wendy & Dawn put a DVD together that was absolutely wonderful. Will see if they will send me one of them.
Was writing notes for this at 2:20 AM as Tummy didn't like what I consumed at the party. It was Great to be able to be there tho.
We decided about 1:45 Sunday afternoon we were anxious to get to Rockport.
So got here about 5PM & unloaded. Earl went to Whataburger, I went to Curves this AM, we both have seen quite a few people we know & have had a lot of hugs. Have a Birthday Party to go to tomorrow & another one on Tuesday. Total miles were 1143, & we thought we were really lucky to fill for 1.62 until talked to Dave & Rich and they said it was 1.53 up there.
Well enough of all this.
